Keeping Apple Valley Safe

Throughout my time as your Mayor and on the Apple Valley Town Council, I have been a strong and consistent supporter of local law enforcement and public safety. From my early service on the Apple Valley Fire Board to one of my current roles as Chair of the California League of Cities Public Safety Committee, I have remained committed to keeping our community safe.

That commitment is reflected in my actions—supporting the addition of new Sheriff’s deputies to better serve and protect Apple Valley. Just last year, I voted to add eight new deputies and one sergeant to strengthen public safety in our community.

Fiscal Responsibility

During my time on the Apple Valley Town Council, we have consistently ensured that our town maintains strong financial reserves to weather tough economic times. Year after year, I have worked to keep our budget balanced while protecting a healthy reserve fund.

By being responsible stewards of your tax dollars, we are ensuring that Apple Valley remains financially stable and prepared for the future.

Roads and Infrastructure

During my time on the Apple Valley Town Council, I have been a part of implementing several infrastructure and road improvements throughout Apple Valley, including the Yucca Loma widening project, the Yucca Loma Bridge Project, and many more. A key part of ensuring our roads and infrastructure needs are met is securing outside funding.

Earlier this year, the Town of Apple Valley was awarded $9.9 million in federal funding to improve safety and mobility for road users. If re-elected, I commit to continuing to implement both small and large-scale road and infrastructure improvements.

Community Events and Activities

Over the last several years, your Town Council has been a strong advocate for family and community events like National Night Out, the Freedom Festival, and our Concerts in the Park series. Providing events like these, where our residents and families can come together and connect with each other and their community, will continue to be a priority for me. 

Economic Development

In communities like ours, responsible economic development is essential to meeting our needs today while planning for the future. As your Mayor, I believe we have a responsibility to attract thoughtful, well-planned growth that benefits our residents.

Over the past year, Apple Valley has welcomed new businesses like Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, Sprouts, and many more—bringing jobs, services, and everyday conveniences closer to home. Because of this progress, our residents can meet more of their daily needs right here in town, without having to travel long distances.

Preserving Apple Valley’s Character and Way of Life

As your Mayor, I will continue working to ensure that all new commercial and housing development meets Apple Valley’s high standards while preserving the rural lifestyle that makes our community unique.
